Everything you could find at a zoo, minus the cages, plus the drugs

Four stages. Massive speakers. LED screens. High-tech lights. The second annual Electric Zoo Festival, that took place Sept. 4 and 5, was nothing short of amazing. Two days, 12 hours of nonstop trance, techno, house, and dub-step music. Wavves: A Personal Experience

  When I heard that Wavves would be playing a show at The Bowery in Manhattan on August 4, I knew I had to be there. I was never really a fan of Wavves until I saw the album art for their most recent album, King of the Beach, which depicts a cat smoking a joint surrounded by palm trees and a colorful, pyramid-pattern backdrop. Once united, they find they've all been taken somehow and planted at their location, which they eventually discover is a completely different planet.

Movie Review

Leonardo DiCaprio plays an "extractor" named Cobb in this summer's hit movie, "Inception." Along with his assistant, or "point-man" Arthur (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), he steals ideas through people's dreams. When Cobb and his team fail to steal the idea of a company CEO named Saito (Ken Watanabe), Saito turns around and offers Cobb a task to complete; to implant an idea into the mind of Robert Fischer (Cillian Murphy), the son of a competing company's CEO.
