"We're very concerned about student tuition, which would theoretically increase $500 per semester if the proposal went through. RCC is founded on the principles of affordability and accessibility.  We are just asking the state to pay its fair share and abide by the law."

If we don't train [college students] then they don't become a productive citizens who eventually pay taxes. The smartest thing to do is invest in education. Paterson's budget is a disaster for higher education."
